Kevin Hughes, M.A.Sc., P.Eng., CAHP
Biography
Kevin is a structural consulting engineer who wants to help you with your next renovation or restoration project. With over 10 years experience as a Building Engineer in Ontario, Kevin has designed everything from small residential alterations to large complex facilities. His expertise is masonry construction, which complements his interest in investigation, rehabilitation, and heritage buildings.
He has extensive knowledge of structural condition assessments, structural repair, and maintenance program development.
Kevin is an active member of the local engineering community where he is Past Chair of the Simcoe Muskoka PEO Chapter and a Part-time Professor at Georgian College.
As a structural engineer, Kevin uses his extensive knowledge of diverse building materials and construction practices to evaluate the performance of existing structural systems. His ability to combine technical knowledge with practical building solutions is an asset to any renovation or restoration project.
